SFBC's children's ministry offers different opportunities for Biblical learning and discipleship to children from birth to sixth grade, where students learn Bible truths that point to the gospel of Jesus Christ. These opportunities include:
Age groups meet every Sunday morning before the morning Sunday service, starting at 9 A.M.
During each Sunday morning 10 A.M. service, church member volunteers offer nursery ages birth to 2 years old, and our Children's Church volunteers provide age-appropriate classes during the preaching portion of the service that include engaging and hands-on Bible lessons, music, games, and crafts. Children's Church goes from preschool to 2nd grade; however, the second and fourth Sunday of each month is offered to children up to 6th grade.
Children up to sixth grade meet during the evening worship service at 6 P.M. These age-appropriate classes focus on the different stories of the Bible and how that applies to our lives today. These weekly lessons include scripture reading and memorization, worship through music, and various hands-on activities of crafts and play.
Children up to sixth grade meet during the evening prayer and worship service at 7 P.M. These age-appropriate classes are similar and/or extensions to our Sunday Night Children's Class.
We also offer different fun and engaging activities and special events for children throughout the year, in addition to our weekly classes that promote Biblical truth, discipleship, and fellowship.
